Behind the Headlines and Humorous Hiccups

TALK TO ME, TEXT IT

Amid the morning bliss of enjoying coffee in bed, we find ourselves confronting a serious incident that unfolded outside a Donald Trump rally in California. A man was arrested with unregistered firearms and multiple IDs, raising suspicions about his true intentions and identity. We discuss the potential security implications, especially considering past threats to Trump, and express our skepticism about the decision to release him on a $5,000 bond. Is there more to this story, or could there be political motives at play in the handling of the case? Join us as we ponder these questions and stress the critical importance of vigilance at high-profile events.

Switching gears, we humorously critique a bizarre workplace trend where promotions seem to be awarded for blunders rather than accomplishments. It's a light-hearted take on office politics that leads us into our question of the day: how do you feel about MyPillows, the product famously endorsed by Mike Lindell? We share our experiences and satisfaction with this popular item, inviting listeners to contribute their thoughts. To wrap it all up, we extend heartfelt gratitude to our listeners for their unwavering support and close with an enthusiastic "Go Dawgs," adding a spirited note to our engaging conversation.

Speaker 1:

Hello, good morning. Happy Monday, columbus Day.

Speaker 2:

Good morning one all to a beautiful day. You know, I was just thinking what, at my age, which is a golden age of somewhere near 62, how priceless it is to get up in the morning and have that first sip of coffee in bed. Yes, it's very nice, I mean, it's almost like you know they the commercial that used to be the best. There was a jingle thing the best part of waking up is a particular coffee in your cup. But you know, my thought is the best part of waking up other than being next to you, is the best part of waking up is good coffee in my cup. And you know that first sip is just that. Ah, you know, it makes you almost not want to get out of bed. Indeed, indeed, anyway, that was my thought when I woke up this morning. How lucky I am.

Speaker 1:

Awesome.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Well, it looks like there might have been a I know we're kind of like cold changing subjects here, but the possible third assassination attempt on Donald Trump. They arrested some man outside the venue. He was going to the rally. The Victor Girls actually wrote a pretty decent blog post on it. Has it out early this morning with a little bit more details. I heard about it yesterday and all the details weren't out yet when I heard about it and did my little video. But apparently this guy he claims to be a trump fan, trump supporter, he likes trump, but he had these guns in his car. He. They were unregistered. Apparently he the he had different kind of passports id on him a different name.

Speaker 1:

I mean, the sheriff just listed off a bunch of things and they were right to arrest him. They should have Absolutely. But here's another thing. Oh gosh, let me go see if I can find the article real quick.

Speaker 2:

First, I heard it when you were talking about it, while you were looking for that article. It was that, oh, they arrested a guy who had some guns Okay, well, so what? And then, well, you know, oh, they arrested a guy who had some guns Okay, well, so what? And then, well, you know, 50,000 people there and nobody else had a gun. Well, okay, maybe. And then they start talking about the fact that he had all these changed IDs and all that stuff. Well, okay, great. And then the police officer, you know. So we're really not sure what his name is, what we don't really know what his name is, and we had to let him go, because you can't hold people for misdemeanor charges in California Misdemeanor charges of having that many guns and fake IDs near a presidential candidate who's been, has tried to be assassinated twice. California law says we can't hold him and we really don't know who he is. Okay, now the red flags are really red, you know. So that got me thinking about that. But go ahead.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and this article that the Victor Girls wrote. Let's go back here. Okay, so his connection, okay, I'm sorry. When asked about the fake ids and passports he had in his car, miller claimed not one of them was fake. None of them are fake. Oh gosh, where is it? Oh, here we go. Apparently, whoever who, whoever wrote up the charges in riverside county which would not be the sheriff also didn't consider this a potential assassination, as Miller was released on a $5,000 bond and Miller himself insists that he was no assassin, though his reasoning for having the firearms is more than a little weird, and this is a quote.

Speaker 1:

I always travel around with my firearms in the back of my truck, miller told Fox News Digital on a phone interview. He says he has never fired them, but he started keeping them with him when he started getting death threats. I've literally never even shot a gun in my life, miller said I don't know anything about guns. I am beyond a novice, he continued. Miller said he has been a 30-year member of the media and started work after graduating from high school. He has also worked on music videos and TV shows, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So If you're going to have guns, at least train yourself how to use them. Go shoot them, go take a class. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

He never fired them and he doesn't know what they are. Yeah, okay, sure you know. Those stories have way too many holes in them for me to say, okay, well, we're just going to let you go. And he said I think he said we've got a court date for you sometime after the first of the year.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, okay, I just wonder how many people actually show up for their court dates in California. I wonder Probably the same amount of people, of illegal aliens, who show up for their court dates six years, seven years, eight years down the road here in the United States Just how many of those people are going to show up for their court dates?

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I just don't buy that shit.

Speaker 1:

One more thing about this story. I just don't buy that stuff. Yeah, one more thing before we close the story. Victory Girl, who wrote the article in one of her paragraphs, kind of implies that this sheriff here might have his eye on higher office and perhaps he was trying to prop himself up a little more, you know, to get more recognition. I know, I don't think I don't either. I don't either. I was kind of surprised at that yeah, I don't buy that. Me either. He did his job yeah.

Speaker 2:

Well, you know, at least he did his job. So he's not a liberal, because if he had not done his job, he'd have gotten reprimanded and gotten a promotion. Yeah, you know, don't do your job. Great, here's a promotion.

Speaker 1:

And let's not forget, donald Trump had two attempts, so this is not far-fetched. I mean, come on, they should be on high alert.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely, absolutely. I think they did a good job catching him. That's a good screening and you know he's an idiot for having. Either he's an idiot for having weapons that close to it or he was up to something. Take your pick. Either way, he should still be in jail.

Speaker 1:

Speaking of idiots and guns Tim Walls went on a peasant hunt.

Speaker 2:

Peasant hunt. When I say peasant, you said peasant hunt.

Speaker 1:

Is that not right? Pheasant hunt? That's what I meant, pheasant hunt.

Speaker 2:

They probably considered the reason they put it out because they were hunting for peasants to vote. We've got to get some peasants to vote for us, so put the shotgun video out. Yeah, that's just so ridiculous. He didn't know how to load the gun. And then the ridiculousness that you said was that you know whoever his handlers are they're probably a bunch of 20-year-olds that have never fired a gun either were like that looks cool, let's put that on there. Not knowing that it was so stupid. So, really, you know, in their minds they were out hunting for peasants in their mind and they screwed up. Anyway, yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 1:

Pheasants is what I meant to say. Pheasants Whatever? Yeah, whatever. Let's not focus on my mispronunciation.

Speaker 2:

That was brilliantly done, though, is what I'm saying. You brilliantly brought it in as that's what the campaign, in their minds, thought they were doing. They think of gun gun owning people as peasants, and you coined that as he's out hunting for peasants, which was brilliant. That was actually. That was absolutely brilliant.

Speaker 1:

Well, and then tim young put out a tweet earlier today too, about, I guess bill cl. Clinton visited a McDonald's and one of the workers there thought he was Joe Biden and they put it out Again, and I thought. My immediate thought was this is the first. This must be the same staffer that put out the Tim Walls gun thing it's like. Are they trying to sabotage?

Speaker 2:

it. And again, let's go back to the here. They are making a blunder, make a blunder, make a blunder, you get a promotion.

Speaker 1:

Exactly.

Speaker 2:

We're going to promote you for all your blunders Instead of doing something you know that actually is, you know, well done it's. Oh, that was a blunder here. Have a promotion.

Speaker 1:

That's just my view of the day, absolutely all right. I guess we need to go ahead and close it out. We have a question of the day.

Speaker 2:

All right, the gent has the question of the day my question of the day today is everyone knows who mike lindell Lindell is, and we've seen his ads for quite some time now, and the question of the day is how many MyPillars do you own and do you like them? Our answer to ours is we've got a multitude and we do like them.

Speaker 1:

There you go.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

Speaker 1:

All right. Well, thank you all for listening.

Speaker 2:

Go Dawgs.
