Preemptive Pardons, Restorative Justice, and Navigating Unpredictable Weather
Preemptive pardons and restorative justice might seem like dry, complex topics, but they could reshape America's political and legal landscape. Imagine the implications if Adam Schiff or Anthony Fauci were preemptively pardoned—how might that alter the fallout of the Trump era? With Kash Patel's controversial nomination as FBI director adding fuel to the fire, we're diving headlong into this political storm. Plus, with Liz Wheeler joining us, we're unpacking the Daniel Penny trial through the lens of restorative justice. This isn't just about law; it's about the societal and racial dynamics that influence justice in America.
But let's take a breather from the heavy stuff and switch gears to something a bit more personal and relatable. Picture this: a morning battle against the unpredictable weather, where my husband's chilly forecast leads me to dress like I'm heading to the Arctic. Spoiler alert: I ended up shedding layers as the day went on. This amusing predicament highlights the ongoing negotiations of shared living—and perhaps even gives a nod to the broader, more serious themes of our episode: the contrasts and complexities in today's world. Join us for a journey through the serious and the light-hearted, where each layer reveals something new.

Hello, good morning. It is Thursday, hey, all right, we're going to get right to it. We have three topics and we're going to start with the Biden White House Ways. Preemptive pardons for potential Trump targets. I did not even know this was a thing. This is from Politico.
Speaker 1:By the way, the nomination of Kash Patel, who has vowed to pursue Trump's critics, as FBI director has heightened concerns within the president's inner circle. Now a lot of these people are saying that they don't want these preemptive pardons because that would assume they've done something wrong, and to me, this just proves the whole Biden administration is corrupt and they have done something wrong. But I did not know that you could. This was a thing and this should not be a thing. I don't think hell. No, this should be totally illegal. No, do away. That's the first thing somebody should do. Do away with preemptive pardons. Come on, I did not know that was a thing. I think they're saying this is kind of what Hunter was given as well, but this is different. I mean, hunter went to court and was found guilty. I don't think he has been sentenced yet, so maybe that's why they're calling this a preemptive pardon for him. But these other people like Adam Schiff and Anthony Tony, stupid-ass, evil, evil, hateful, fauci.
Speaker 1:The deliberations touch on pardoning those currently in office, elected and appointed, as well as former officials who've angered Trump and his loyalists. Those who could face exposure include such members of Congress January 6th committee as Senator-elect Adam Schiff, from California, well you know and former GOP Rep Liz Cheney of Wyoming. Trump has previously said Cheney should go to jail, along with the rest of the unselect met committees committee. Also mentioned by biden, by biden's aides, for a pardons is anthony fauci, the former head of the national institute of allergy and infectious diseases, who became a lightning rod for criticism from the right during coven 19 pandemic. Wow know, that is some crazy shit. That is some crazy shit.
Speaker 1:Now there's a lot of people, like I said, who said no, we don't, we don't really want this. Maybe hold off on that Biden. And I'm talking about like people like Adam Schiff. Oh, and that Jack Smith guy too. Anyway, you're going to hear a lot about that today.
Speaker 1:I am sure let's talk about Daniel Penny. His fate could be determined today by the jury, but his this prosecutor you, if you don't know about Liz Wheeler, she's on the Blaze. She's fairly new to the Blaze. I've just recently started watching her because when the Pat Gray and them were on vacation that week of Thanksgiving, I decided to go catch up on like off the record programs and shows and their, their overtime and stuff. Well, one of the off the records was with Liz Wheeler. Now I have heard about her, I knew about her, but I never really listened to her or followed or anything like that. I love this woman. Oh man, man, I love her. This is how I wish I was back in the day when I was young. But no, I was too stupid and off partying and doing silly things instead of paying attention. But anyway, liz Wheeler, go check her latest thing out. It should be on YouTube about this trial.
Speaker 1:She talks about this restorative justice, and that is in air quotes. What the hell? We need to first of all stop using terms like that. But that's she's using it because that's what the left, I guess, is using Restorative justice. What does that mean to you, when you hear words like that? Restorative justice? That means that Daniel Penny is on trial because he's white for killing a black man. Well, he didn't, you know, he accidentally killed I say, killing a white man. That's how the left is seeing it, though that's what the left and the progressives are seeing. They're seeing a white man. A black man died, a white man did it. So we're there for restorative justice. We must fight. Send him to prison for the rest of his life. But she does a lot better job than I do.
Speaker 1:Let's read a little bit of the story from the New York Post. The Manhattan prosecutor who pressed jurors this week to convict Daniel Penny in the subway chokehold death of Jordan Neely, once used a restorative justice program to secure a reduced sentence for a brute who killed an elderly professor during a mugging on the Upper West Side. For six years ago, matthew Lee, 57, was originally. You guys probably remember this story. Matthew Lee, 57, was originally facing a 25-year-to-life sentence on murder charges when he attacked a beloved Lehman College instructor, young Kun Kim, 87, from behind and snatched money the victim had withdrawn from the ATM. This was actually back in 2018 when the crime actually happened. Kim resisted and, during an ensuing struggle, fell and hit his head, dying days later from bleeding in his brain as Lee fled. So you know it was kind of an accidental thing. But anyway, this prosecutor I say accidental, he shouldn't have been robbing the guy.
Speaker 1:Prosecutor Daphna Yorin, who handled Lee's case, negotiated to reduce the possible life sentence to a mere 10 years behind bars after the assailant participated in a restorative justice program initiated by then Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. It was the first time the Manhattan DA's office had used the program. So this is an actual program out there. 2018, folks, before 2020, before George Floyd died, this was already happening. This was already happening. So don't tell me that this was that. Don't tell me that we have been an unjust justice system for this whole time and, of a sudden, we're just now trying to correct ourselves. No, this has been happening for a while. Anyway. You can go finish reading that. It's just disgusting. Pray for daniel penny and the jurors. Today we might hear a verdict. Or if yeah, verdict today, all right, last up.
Speaker 1:I need your opinion on this. I want to know something. I have older I know I'm not going to say that I have men listening to the program who are my age or maybe perhaps a little older. I want to know something about this story that I'm about to tell you. Young influencer faces backlash. After dancing next to much older boyfriend in hospital bed, I got on the will.
Speaker 1:A horrified social media users put a young TikToker on blast after she shared a disturbing video dancing next to her much older boyfriend in a hospital bed while boasting about getting an inheritance. This is not the first time she's been seen doing shit like this. She also has other videos of her like um, I'll have to get to it because I can't remember Like he took her Cartier and got her fancy jewelry and then she, she. I forget what she said. Let's see if I can get here. I forget what she said. Let's see if I can get here. Oh, let me go ahead and read some of the other story.
Speaker 1:All right, the video started with Bronwyn Aurora, 22 years old, in black jeans and a tan halter top, dancing to the caption guys, I got on the wheel. Should I pull the plug? As she frolicked inches away from her where her decades old boyfriend laid in a hospital bed surrounded by medical devices. Another clip posted by the toronto-based model in the same hospital room showed her kneeling over and kissing her elderly boyfriend's hand before jumping up and dancing to the song keep up with lyrics that, okay, whatever. This is getting out of hand. The dance only lasted a few seconds until she snarled and stopped recording the clip's shocking music selection okay, whatever.
Speaker 1:I'm trying to get to the point where, let's see, some commenters discussed what looked like a gold-digging situation between the man who was not identified and the vlogger, of course, so you're dancing like he was one hell of okay, no, no, no, here we go. She's in this jewelry store and he's buying her some jewelry from cartier, and the caption reads he takes me to cartier, I take him to pound town. What in the hell? Aurora didn't share what her boyfriend was in the hospital for, but it appears he was out by mid-November, because she posted a TikTok video of her once again dancing near him in a jewelry store. Yeah, with that caption. This time her older boyfriend was standing up and even performing a slow boogie as she danced next to him. Then there's another picture where they're in a restaurant. He seems to be a little bit better, he's upright, he's eating, he's in a wheelchair, though she's sitting next to him in this lacy, revealing outfit Out in public. Now, mind you, this looks like something you should wear in a bedroom, not out into a restaurant. So the influencer didn't shy away from sharing details about the relationship online, telling fans in one post that she is not currently intimate with her boyfriend, even though he took her on a shopping spree. Yeah, that's a reason to get intimate. All right, if I feel like I should ask his doctor if it's okay first, because I don't want him to have a heart attack during it, aurora said, but he seemingly is well enough to go out to dinner with her. The couple's most recent video on her page shows her wearing a revealing lace dress, as she sat next to her in a wheelchair wearing an olive green button-down shirt.
Speaker 1:Well, there you go. That is the story. Why, why does this man do this? That's what I want to know. Why does this man? I mean, maybe he has the money to do it, but why? Why? I can't. I can't even think of the reason why this older man would do this. I don't get it. You have to go read the story and look at the pictures and I guess Somebody tell me. I need to know why this older man throws money at this young girl like this. Maybe Jeffy can tell me. I'm sure Jeffy would know why this happens.
Speaker 1:Oh, by the way, I'm a little perturbed at Jeffy talking about this, the model that the man that won model of the year in the women's thing, as you're trying to pretend to be a woman. Now, if you want to win model of the year in the women's thing, as in, trying to pretend to be a woman, now if you want to win model of the year in the male category, fine, but this guy pretending to be a girl winning the girls category model of the year, something like that. I forget exactly what the story was, but he was on Pat Gray yesterday talking about it, and he was talking about how hot he was, how hot this male model was, and Jeffy was calling him a she. Oh, I'm like Jeffy, I'm so disappointed, so, so, so disappointed. Maybe he was joking, I don't know. Maybe that's just dry sense of humor. I don't like it, though I don't think there's okay. We got to move on.
Speaker 1:Question of the day what was your last text message? That is the question of the day. Mine was oh, I be warm. That was my text to my husband. You know, every morning I text him when I arrive to work safely, and he usually replies back you know, love you, sweetheart, have a great day.
Speaker 1:But this time he said stay warm, because it's supposed to be cold out today. To me it's not really that cold, but it's supposed to be cold, and so I put on an extra shirt underneath my work shirt and I have my flannel on top of all that and I'm sitting here about to sweat to death. So I texted him back oh, I'd be warm. It's so funny because I I I don't know why, but I get hot easier than most people, it seems and my husband poor, poor gent always back there being freezing cold. So I guess he thinks it's going to be super cold today. He said it's going to be like the highest and only going to be in the 40s. But I'm telling you I'm quite warm and I can tell this undershirt is going to have to come off. I'm already hot. All right, I got to go. Thanks for listening. Bye.
