From DC Violence to Hollywood Drama: A Morning Breakdown
A shocking shooting in Washington DC sets the tone for today's discussion as we examine the murder of two Israeli embassy staff members. The tragedy raises profound questions about political rhetoric, responsibility, and the growing concern over campus protests that have escalated beyond peaceful demonstration. I don't hold back my frustration with leadership that has allowed dangerous ideologies to take root on American soil.
The headlines continue with news of America's nuclear missile testing program, which paradoxically mirrors behaviors we criticize in other nations. This display of military might, while routine, prompts reflection on how we balance security with global perceptions of American power. Meanwhile, in a completely different sphere, Kim Kardashian quietly achieves her law degree after six years of education – an accomplishment that deserves recognition regardless of one's opinion on celebrity culture.
Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo now faces a DOJ investigation into nursing home deaths during COVID, with an interesting twist involving Judge Jeanine Pirro's connection to the case. Beyond politics, we explore two devastating human interest stories that transcend partisan divides – a couple dying in separate crashes on the same day, and tornado survivors who lost limbs while holding each other during the storm. We wrap with Hollywood controversy surrounding the Madden biopic starring Nicolas Cage, where allegations of inappropriate behavior on set have already emerged. Who would you cast as John Madden instead? Your thoughts welcome on this question of the day!

Good morning, it's Thursday, let's get right to it, oh my gosh. Okay, first of all, I need to talk about the shooting that happened in DC. Two Israeli I guess embassy staff members who were going to be engaged, were shot and killed right outside on the streets in Washington DC. And the suspect, elias Rodriguez, who identifies let me see what did it say? He identified as Well, that was his name. They said he identifies as Elias Rodriguez is not a white man. So I have some questions for Ilhan Omar. Is this the white man that she's talking about, that is doing all the violence in america? He's not a white man. Okay, is this? What? Is this the kind of person she's talking about? Or how about talib with her palestinian flag up in the halls of congress? I have some questions for her. This I blame the whole party of democrats on this.
Speaker 1:Yes, yes, I do. I'm just a small person out here. I can have my opinions. I blame the whole Democratic Party. I blame them for letting the protesters and I put that in quotes because I have never really called them protesters from the beginning on these university campuses. They are freaking terrorists. They are breeding terrorists. They are terrorist cells. They are breeding terrorists. They're terrorist cells. Terrorists because they support Hamas. They like Hamas. They wear their little handkerchiefs around their neck oh my God and they free. Palestine is all their chance. They hate Jewish people. They are freaking terrorists. How do you have when do you have to get that through your freaking thick head up there in DC or or whoever I, if Trump doesn't do something about this, I don't know what I'm just. I'm very upset because the the American people I will blame the American people too. Democrats have allowed this to fester without putting it down Period. This should have been stopped from the get-go, but no, guess who was in charge back then when it happened Joe Biden and his ilk and his whole party. I blame the whole Democratic Party for this, the whole Democratic Party for this Period. We need to move on. I know I've ranted, but that's that's. That's it All right?
Speaker 1:Us launches doomsday Minuteman III nuclear capable missile dramatic show of force. I don't know why this reminds me of what what North Korea used to do all the time. I don't know why this bothers me, but it does. It shouldn't. I know it shouldn't, it should not bother me in the least, but it does because you know we don't want other people to have nuclear weapons, but here we are showing them off. The US Air Force launched a nuclear capable intercontinental ballistic missile, capable of delivering a nuclear warhead to anywhere on earth, wednesday morning as part of the regular test of country's doomsday missiles. This does not sound good. The doomsday missiles, why? Why the Minuteman III missile was unarmed. Maybe I look I'm pro-America. I promise I love America. I do, but I just don't know about this. I don't know about this. Maybe we're just showing our muscle, perhaps I'm just going to let that slide, all right.
Speaker 1:Next up, kim Kardashian graduates law school after six years in surprise backyard commencement ceremony. That headline is so messed up. Ok, so it makes it sound like she was in her backyard for six years studying her law degree. Um, so kim kardashian officially graduated from law school and celebrated her sixth year education journey in a backyard commencement ceremony in beverly hills. Well, good for her. What do you think she's going to do with that law degree? Uh, I'm afraid to ask. And then I wrote a blog post for the victor girls over at about this.
Speaker 1:Andrew cuomo's day of reckoning has been long overdue. So apparently what is happening with andrew cuomo is that the doj is finally opening up an investigation for him and the covid and all the nursing home deaths. Finally, I thought this was already. I thought they had done this already, but maybe not. Maybe they did something else. But now he's all. He got his underwear in a wad because, you know, eric adams also was being investigated, but the doj dropped the charges for him or dropped the investigation, dropped the case. But that was a totally different, altogether separate, not even related to what andrew cuomo is being investigated for. So, and of course, he's running for mayor, andrew cuomo's running for mayor. So, and of course, he's running for mayor, andrew Cuomo is running for mayor in New York City. So he's also saying you know, political target, there's a law, fair. Well, welcome, welcome to what the world you created, you and your party created. This Actually, actually, this is a legit, for real investigation.
Speaker 1:This needs to happen. I'm surprised that it hasn't happened before. Oh, that's right, joe Biden was in office for four years. I forgot about that. So here's the thing that I found interesting, and it probably has nothing to do with anything, who knows? But you know, judge Jeanine Pirro I call her Judge Jeanine, still Pirro she has been tapped to be the Attorney General I think the State Attorney General, whatever it's called for, dc, district of DC, and they're in charge of this investigation. And a long time ago, in 2006, I know a long time ago, think about it, 2006, she ran against Cuomo in some kind of race, I think District Attorney for New York City, I think, I think and so it was Judge Pirro and Andrew Cuomo running against each other and of course she lost. He won.
Speaker 1:So very interesting little tidbit there, in case you didn't know that. All right, what else do we have going on, man? I went through it fast and it's only five minutes. My all right, I'll end with these other stories. Hopefully I can find something better than this, but this is a sad story and I've I don't have it. I don't have all the details, the names and everything in my head where it happened, their names or anything like that.
Speaker 1:So forgive me, but apparently this, uh, a couple who has a four-year-old child died on the same day in separate crashes. This is so sad. This woman was driving. I don't know why she was driving at 2 am in the morning. Maybe she has a job that you know requires her to leave at 2 am. I don't know, but she veered off the road, her car turned over and it killed her. And then, when her fiancé was notified, he got in his car and rushed to the scene and he died in a car crash. So sad. It's on the new york post if you want to go see it.
Speaker 1:And then this other story oh, this is a little. Well, I don't even know a couple in kentucky. It's an older couple too, and in kentucky, when all those tornadoes went through a couple of days ago, they this is so sad, I don't even know how to say it they're alive, they're alive, they're good, they're alive, thank goodness. Uh, but they were huddled in their bedroom, they were clutching each other when the tornado came through and ripped them apart and ripped oh gosh, this is terrible Tore their arms off, or one arm of each person, like like the guy had one arm ripped off and the girl, the woman, had one arm ripped off. This is so sad, I know, I know, but at least they're alive and they're good, they're well, and their dog survived too. So that's, I guess. Wow, can you imagine? No, I can't. All right, let's see if I can find a good story. Well, I don't know about this being a good story, but it's certainly not politics. Let me go find it. I just clicked off of it. Hold on, all right, here we go. Y'all.
Speaker 1:I have seen these advertisements on Facebook about this Madden movie being filmed, starring Nicolas Cage, and I thought there is no way this is happening. Not Nicolas Cage as Madden. No, this can't be happening. This is not real. But it is oh, but it is Okay, and we have some controversy. All right, here we go.
Speaker 1:Madden actor quits film over director David O Russell using N-word on set. Uncomfortable nudity report. All right. Drama is ensuing on the set of Madden.
Speaker 1:A supporting actor in the upcoming film starring Christian Bale and Nicholas Cage allegedly quit on Friday just two weeks after production started over David O Russell's alleged use of the n-word on set. Tmz reported on Wednesday. Five members of the cast and crew reportedly told the outlet that the famous director, 66, allegedly uttered the racial slur while he was working with the unnamed actor on an impromptu monologue. Why is he unnamed? Can we not name him please? The actor and others were upset by russell's comment and walked off the set early that day per tmz. But amazon studios sources told tmz that it allegedly was the actor's idea to include the N-word in the scene after a private, creative conversation with Russell. So who do you believe? What's going on here? What do you think? The source claimed that Russell didn't say the slur when the scene was shot and the word didn't make it to the final cut. In addition, cast and crew sources told TMZ that the day before the alleged N-word incident, the same actor refused to shoot a nude scene in a locker room, which allegedly upset Russell, who had an unprofessional reaction. However, studio sources downplayed the alleged incident and claimed that an intimacy coordinator was there to help make the actor feel more comfortable.
Speaker 1:A lot of alleged words in there, okay, so I guess we need to move on to the question of the day. Okay, I have a great question today. What other actor would you choose to play John Madden other than Nicolas Cage? I cannot see Nicolas Cage being John Madden. I'm sorry, I can't. So what other actor would you cast as John Madden? Let me know, okay, gotta go Love y'all. Thanks for listening. Bye.
