Inside The Firestorm: Cash Patel, Dan Bongino, And A Viral Health Warning
Holiday lights, hot takes, and a double-header that doesn’t flinch. We open the first day of December with a quick pulse check—trees up, Elfie sighting, and a birthday countdown—then dive straight into a blistering report card on the FBI under Director Cash Patel with Dan Bongino as deputy. The critique, sourced from active and retired insiders, calls the bureau a “rudderless ship,” dings Patel’s judgment in the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination case, and accuses leadership of chasing optics and social media clout. We unpack the claims, the anonymous “Alpha” sources, and the old fault lines over politicization and culture. Are these red flags about competence, or a factional knife fight dressed up as accountability?
Then we pivot from political turbulence to a medical shocker: the rise of “scromiting,” the colloquial term for cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome. Chronic cannabis users are reporting waves of extreme nausea, violent vomiting, and abdominal pain—sometimes for days—leading to dehydration, ER visits, and scary recoveries. We examine why the condition is spiking, what researchers and clinicians are seeing, and how social platforms like TikTok spread both warnings and confusion. The hard truth is simple and unglamorous: frequency matters, potency matters, and for some, the only real fix is to stop.
Throughout, we keep the tone candid and curious, testing how we judge credibility—whether it’s law enforcement under scrutiny or health risks wrapped in internet virality. If you’re here for media literacy, institutional trust, and straight talk on personal choices, you’ll feel right at home. Stream now, share with a friend who loves a lively debate, and tell us: is your Christmas tree up yet? If you enjoyed the conversation, follow the show, leave a rating, and drop your take in the comments—we read every one.

Good morning. Happy December 1st. We are in December, y'all. Christmas season is upon us. Thanksgiving is over. The tree is up at our house. We have Elfie here has visited our house, Chicken Pop's house. We are ready. I know it's only December 1st. But, and I have a birthday coming up before Christmas. So just saying. The last of my 50s. I will be 59 in a couple of weeks. Alright. Let's see. I only have two stories for you. Um I couldn't find anything worth a damn. And I don't even know if these stories that I have for you are worth a damn. The first one up damning report labels FBI rudderless ship under Cash Patel. With he and Dan Bongino more concerned with building personal resumes. Wow. Oh, you know, everybody loved they wanted Cash Patel. All the public, the general population wanted, well, I say general population, the ones paying attention to the news back in the day, wanted Cash Patel as the FBI director. Well, they got their wish, and now, almost on day one, they hate him. And Dan Bongino. Dan Bon Gino, I think, is the most surprising. Now, I didn't really know of Cash Patel before he got this position. I have heard of him, but I didn't follow him or anything like that. I don't know his background or where he came from or anything like that. Dan Bongino, though, I knew him because of him being on Fox News a lot, uh, his podcast. Now, I did I never watched a single episode of his podcast, but you know, they would show clips of it. So of course I knew who he was. And, you know, he was always one of those bombastic voices that uh would say kind of outrageous things with no evidence. But and then, you know, he said, ah, you know, da-da-da, conspiracy kind of thing. And then when he gets the job, he goes completely in the opposite direction. So, here we go. FBI Director Cash Patel is facing withering criticism from an alliance of active duty and retired agents and analysts days after the White House denied media reports that the president is about to fire him. A troubling new report card on the first six months of Patel's leadership concludes he is in over his head and his deputy Dan Bongino is something of a clown, according to the Alliance, which in two previous reports warned about crippling DEI and politicization of the FBI during the Biden administration. I wonder though, now, since this uh article is coming out criticizing them, the media is criticizing them. Now I wonder if the people will turn back and be for and be positive of Cash Patel and Dan Bongino. Watch my watch watch what I say. Uh let's see, moving on. The Patel led FBI is described in the 115-page report as a rudderless ship and all effed up. Wow. Patel is described by multiple internal sources as inexperienced, with one source saying he has neither the breadth of experience nor the bearing an FBI director needs to be successful. Now keep in mind these are insiders that are saying this. So you gotta wonder that this is the deep state trying to come out against them. And you watch, watch my word. Now that this criticism is coming out against them, now the people will be pro-Pattel and Bangino again, now that this scathing report has come out. However, an additional source described him as very personable and likable, while noting he created a culture of mistrust and uncertainty among the ranks. Okay? Some of the heavy criticism stems from Patel's behavior in Salt Lake City after the Charlie Kirk assassination. Uh-oh. He is accused of giving premature public remarks. I don't think so. That potentially jeopardized the investigation, taking credit for the work of other agencies when the suspect was arrested and for yelling and swearing at the agent in charge. Uh-oh. Both he and Bonjino were criticized for arrogance and an unfortunate obsession with social media. I didn't see that at all. Did you guys see that when this went down with Charlie Kirk getting arresting his the guy who shot him? I didn't see that at all. Maybe, you know, it was covered up. I don't think so. They seemed like they were all working together. But who knows really? One source said they need to stop talking, stop posing, and just be professional. Another said they are spending too much time on social media and public relations. I don't think so, because I've seen some of their some of their tweets, and it's not I don't think it's too much. But what do I know? Uh the report was written in the style of an official FBI intelligence assessment, analyzing reports from 24 FBI sources and subsources and using antidotes to illustrate troubling themes. The case of the medium-sized raid jacket is one example. On September 11th, 2025, the day after Kirk was assassinated, Patel flew into Provo, Utah on the FBI jet, but would not disembark from the plane without an FBI raid jacket, according to Alpha 99, a highly respected source who has served in the FBI for multiple decades. Why? I don't get that. Patel apparently did not have his own FBI raid jacket with him and refused to step from the plane without wearing one. Okay, if that is true, that is so dumb and juvenile. Jacket trouble. FBI special agents at the Salt Lake City field office, busy working on the Kirk case, had to stop and ask around to find an FBI raid jacket, a medium-sized one that would fit. Okay, this is getting ridiculous. With a jacket belonging to a female agent, was delivered to Patel on the plane. He complained that two areas on the upper sleeves did not have velcro patches attached. Is is this for real? Is this article for real? Come on. Patel would not leave the plane until he had two patches to cover those areas. So who knows if this is real? Come on, this is getting a little nitty-gritty, a little petty, don't you think? Uh in another situation at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, Patel was said to be upset when he heard about a discussion that took place among a few dozen FBI personnel about his request that he be issued an FBI firearm. When details of the discussion were leaked, Patel ordered everyone to get polygraphs to find out who had criticized him, according to the source, named Alpha 95, who is described as a highly respected leader and person of integrity. I wonder who this Alpha 95 is. Alpha 95 was dismayed by the order to conduct polygraph examination. Who is this Alpha 95 person? He's probably got it. He's got to be an anti-Trump uh deep state person, I would think, probably a James Comey type supporter, probably. This goes on and on and on. So if you would like to go read that, that is over on my X-File. Moving on to something a little more or a little less controversial, maybe? Maybe not. I don't know. Chronic pot smokers, worn scrommating pain is worse than childbirth. Almost died from it. Come on, give me a break. Okay, I have no sympathy for pot smokers at all. The people that use it that for recreational use or not for medical purposes, I have no sympathy for you whatsoever. Skromiting, it's a new term, y'all. Or the screaming, it's it means or the screaming and vomiting brought on by chronic cannabis use. Well, how about this? Stop smoking it. It's worse than childbirth. How now this has to be a woman speaking, not a man, because a man would know nothing about childbirth, okay? According to TikTok users who say they've experienced both. So this is coming from women. So shut up. The the It's some of the worst physical pain I've ever experienced in my life. And I birthed him a nine-pound baby, said somebody pointed, pointing to her son. I was crying and screaming like I can't take this anymore. I'm just begging God, please make it stop, she said. Scromiting. Well then stop smoking pot. It says chronic smoker. So she does this over and over and over again. No sympathy whatsoever. And you have a child. Fuck you. I was crying and screaming. Okay, I already said that. Scromiting, the collequ the colic colloquial term for cannabinoid hypermesis syndrome, can initially last up to 48 hours. Good. I hope you get it. With people reportedly pucking puking up to 30 times a day. Chronic pot smokers can then suffer from its nausea and severe abdominal pain for years. Good. Stoners have taken to social media to warn others of that torturous condition. I almost died from it. I couldn't eat or drink for a week. I was throwing up 24-7, claimed Liz Hanniford, who said she was smoking three to four times a day for more than four hours. What is wrong with people? Why so she obviously doesn't have a job. She said it took her a long time to connect her condition to smoking the weed. I threw up at first and I continued to smoke, threw up again, continued to smoke, she said in another video. Another user reenacted reenacted a scrompeting episode for her 18,000 followers. Why? Scromiting leads to severe dehydration and loss of electrolytes and can be fatal, according to a study by researchers at the University of Illinois. Well, okay, and published in the GAMMA Network Open Medical Journal. It is also on the rise. The disturbing analysis showed that related emergency room visits since 2016 have increased dramatically since the pandemic. Another TikTok user posted photos of herself in a hospital bed after a particularly bad episode. Well, there you go. Skromiting from chronic pot smoking. Okay, the question of the day is do you have your Christmas tree up? That's the question. Alright, gotta go. Thanks for listening. Happy Monday. Happy December 1st.
